Many a masterpiece goes unnoticed the first time around, as was the case with No Other. Gene Clark's 1974 album of studio wizardry was hard to swallow after '72's organic Roadmaster, mostly because the polished production was way ahead of its time. Of course it became a cult classic once everyone started to record this way.
