Forget about that gritty cover photo: it's the 1970s jazz equivalent of rich rock stars being pictured wearing torn jeans (in fact, the backwoods blues of the title track is out of place on this long-out-of-print album). Blues features keyboardist George Duke doing his funky crossover thing, fronting an all-star fusion band made up of Lee Ritenour, Airto and members of the Brothers Johnson.
