George Harrison

In 1981, George Harrison produced and co-scored the cult classic Time Bandits and released his comeback album Somewhere in England. After that, Harrison discovered synthesizers and recorded Gone Troppo, which is widely considered to be the weakest effort in his solo catalog. Overflowing with dated synth burbling and that echoey 1980s drum sound, the songs that work best have the old George Harrison feel (like the slide guitar-heavy "Greece"). "Baby Don't Run Away" proves that George could match the synths to his personal style.
