Giorgio Moroder

Moroder's soundtrack to this truly harrowing film is suitably creepy, made almost entirely with synthesizers and marked by cheesy late 1970s production values. Aside from a pair of cuts that the passage of time has not been very kind to, Midnight Express will be of interest to anyone into the electronic space-out of Tangerine Dream.
