Graham Nash

Contrary to the title, Nash's second solo album offers no wild tales but instead delivers
retrospective observations in a restrained country-rock style. Nash, who not long ago
produced David Blue to maximum advantage, is overly modest in producing himself. Wild

The title is as phony as the rest of the album, which despite the paid-for goodies--harmony here, intro there, even a song somewhere or other--is a tame collection of reshuffled platitudes. Especially annoying: "Oh! Camil," in which Graham lets us know that he is morally superior to a doubt-ridden Vietnam vet. (Grade: C-)
