Sprung from a gritty southern metal/pummeling hardcore foundation, He Is Legend re-emerge with a rock-driven third full length. Meticulously structured to change directions track after track, It Hates You is a catchy venture into hard rock territory, and at times very reminiscent of the '90s aesthetic. Main features are the big riffs and controlled vocals with unforgettable hooks ("Everyone I Know Has Fangs"), slow-moving storytelling ("China White III"), howling solos ("Party Time!") and straightforward foot-tappers ("Dicephalous").
