Head Automatica is the side-project of Glassjaw singer Daryl Palumbo. Using arena-sized alt-rock guitars and throwing them up against more dancefloor-oriented beats might seem ill-conceived, but the combination the Palumbo is going for is an odd yet interesting mix of post-punk disco and anthemic punk-pop. Throw in the singer's penchant for screaming at any given moment, and you have a nervy, rough-edged, punk-dance party.
