Heather Headley

Headley's got a voice to die for, and she's lovely to boot, but those two traits can't make up for the general lack of vision on her sophomore effort. It's pleasant music, to be sure, but even the cameo-happy Shaggy and Lil Jon (who guests on the excellent old-school shuffle "Back When It Was") can't shake this release from its torpor. Still, props to Headley for trying.
