Hurt

About

Hurt may be termed a post-grunge band but the music this quartet plays is a lot closer to the original form of the genre than its "post" contemporaries, with some arty tendencies thrown in (whispered passages, violins and pianos). It helps that the band is prone to a real heaviness, which serves to round out a few somewhat ham-fisted prog moves. Their debut album, Vol. 1 came out in early 2006.
