Insane Clown Posse

Less gore, more beer drinking, less bombast, more booty shake. Perhaps in the wake of hatchet-wielding Juggalo (i.e. fan) Jacob Robida's attack on a gay bar in New Bedford, Mass., and the subsequent cross-country chase that left Robida, his girlfriend and a police officer dead, the Posse has mellowed. In any case, "Ride the Tempest" and "I Do This" are among the beleaguered duo's best songs. "Haunted Bumps" is the other winner here. Longtime fans will be excited by the return of producer Mike E. Clark, whose fingerprints are all over the album.
