JET are an Australian four-piece enamored with the purity and saving grace of good rock 'n' roll. With big riffs, big sideburns and a big push from a major label, the band took off in 2003. Their music is a simple celebration of posturing, sneering and more than a few handclaps. It's Marc Bolan revisiting Chuck Berry as interpreted by Keith Richards and then copped by Noel Gallagher. The band's crunchy guitar tone and finger-wagging garage stomp is nothing new (nor will it ever be), but that doesn't mean it isn't ridiculously fun to listen to.
