John Wesley Harding

About

English Singer-Songwriter JWH first emerged in the late '80s to a certain amount of acclaim and strong comparisons to Elvis Costello. This is not surprising, since he used Costello's backing band the Attractions on his debut record. After a number of albums, he has settled into his role as a folksinger with a nod towards leftist politics and an ability to assimilate certain newer styles such as using drum loops and samples into the Folk-Pop fern.
