John Williams

John Williams successfully managed to create a score for the 1999 film that was, of course, familiar but still inventive enough to be distinct from the other films. It's certainly not lacking in bombast, but the attention to detail and the ability to effectively portray innocence, whimsy, and wonder is something from which the film itself should have taken lessons.
