Jon Langford

What makes this interview really cool is the fact that our esteemed General Manager, Tim Quirk is actually an old friend of U.K. punk legend (and alt country luminary), Jon Langford. In fact, Quirk and Langford's respective bands toured together in the late '80s, so the interview here flows more like a natural conversation between kindred buddies. Langford waxes nostalgic on the early days of the Mekons and how English pub rocker Wreckless Eric, punk love songs and old honky-tonk tunes drove his inspiration. He and violinist/partner-in-crime Jean Cook also discuss punk rock parenting.
