Even if single song remix compilations are repetitive by definition, the interpretations of Dutch producer Junkie XL emerge as the most engaging. His two tracks, the "Small Room" and "Big Room" remixes, retread the original Timberlake vocal with a jerky, overdriven electro bassline that brings to mind his recent work with the Scissor Sisters. The ethno-instrument grab bag and strings on Quentin Harris' remix treats the track with a bit more layered approach, and rounds out the strident interpretations of this of-the-moment club classic.
