This four-track aficionado whips up songs as quickly as instant Jell-O, and the results can be just as delectable. In 2006, this Anacortes, Washington native released his first proper album Beneath Waves on the K Records label. However, for those who can't get enough of his improvisational home recording, he releases a CD a month via his "Kelp Monthly" subscription service -- all complete with handmade packaging and inserts. He also tours and records with a number of bands from the Pacific Northwest, including Mirah, Wolf Colonel, the Microphones, Little Wings and Laura Veirs.
