Marriage and fatherhood must suit Keith Urban quite well -- Defying Gravity is reflective of a man who is content to be exactly where he is. While it can be argued that a little tension can spark creativity, there's no denying that celebratory love song "Sweet Thing" and snappy, optimistic tracks like "Standing Right in Front of You" (which bears a resemblance to the New Radicals' "You Get What You Give") and "Kiss a Girl" are contagious gems with plenty of crossover appeal. Interestingly enough, the song that sounds most like classic Urban is his cover of Radney Foster's "I'm In."

Keith Urban plays it so safe on Defying Gravity, you'd think he got a musical lobotomy when
he went to rehab. The album depicts an idyllic America, where young'uns suffer innocent
heartache like so many Fifties teenagers. There's no economic crisis, no war and only one
track ("Thank You") that hints at his marriage to Nicole Kidman and his highly publicized
