Born in El Salvador and bred in Maui, Keoki takes his well-known moniker from the elusive love-child of a legendary Hawaiian king. Internationally recognized for his groundbreaking, boundary-dissolving Techno techniques, Keoki occupies the same sonic plateau as the Crystal Method, Rabbit in the Moon and Cirrus. Acknowledged for revitalizing the Trance scene with his singular, spiritually enlightened vision, Keoki's mixes add blistering breakbeats to mind-bending synths. Steadily scorching rhythms take on a treacherous tone as blood-curdling vocal samples struggle with flickering melodies like a series of fuses in the process of blowing out. Speaking like a wise Tantric teacher, Keoki sums up his 1997 Moonshine Music release Ego Trip this way: "The music can deliver the ultimate orgasm."
