Laura Cantrell

About

Laura Cantrell is a New York-based, Nashville-bred singer-songwriter whose voice and sensibility reflect a love of Traditional Country, as well as sparkling, harmony-laden pop from the '60s and '70s. Her crystal clear vocals are buoyed by note-perfect instrumental work that shimmers and twangs, evoking Bluegrass, Honky-Tonk, Memphis Soul and Byrds-style Country Rock. These songs offer a certain kind of forward thinking that gives hope to fans of country music.
