In case you forgot that there were other people in Destiny's Child besides Beyonce, there's Letoya to remind you that there was. Letoya Lucket was born in Texas and spent the majority of her youth trying to break into the R&B girl group market. She was briefly in a group with future Destiny's Child member, LaTavia Robertson called Anjel. Although Anjel didn't work out, LaTavia ended up joining Destiny's Child when they formed in 1990, alongside Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland. When it came time to find a fourth member, the soulful soprano of Letoya Lucket made for a perfect fit and she officially joined the group in 1993.
