With "Snap Yo Fingers," the world's most lovable "YEEEEAAAH" man has stuck his big toe in snap, the ATL micro genre that once seemed poised to derail Jon's crunk empire. Truthfully, the snap genre is basically crunk with the snare drums supplemented by finger snaps, and this single is bubbling with the squealing synth lines that are the production wiz's bread and butta. The Youngbloodz Sean Paul and E-40 show up for a pair of mostly inconsequential verses -- and of course Jon pops in with his usual grunted declarations -- but "snap" is all about the production's syncopated bombast.
