Linton Kwesi Johnson

This double disc anthology captures the king of Dub poetry at his best with selections from his years on Island records (1979 to 1984). Raised in both Jamaica and London, Johnson specializes in a poetic, rootsy brand of reggae with a streetwise undertone. Dub versions of many of the tracks follow the originals.
