Los Lobos put out this set of boleros, son jarochos, and rancheras in 1978 when they were primarily a wedding band with a regular Mexican restaurant gig. The album was swept under the rug until Hollywood Records re-released it in 2000. Be very thankful: taut musicianship + Mexican classics = sheer delight. Delicious versions of "El Canelo," "El Pescado Nadador," and more.
