Fronted by Richard Butler from the Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love had a surprise moderate hit with the moody "Am I Wrong" (1994). Their debut album was a ragtag collection of generally strong songs, but the band's next effort, Trysome Eatone, was a more cohesive and streamlined affair. It too achieved strong FM alternative radio success. It seems like the public can't get enough of Butler's smoky vocal style.
