No MC has more clever ways of saying "you suck" than Virginia's reigning dis king, Mad Skillz. With a staggering array of cultural metaphors, he declares other rappers to be inferior. Disregarding the concept of overkill, he rephrases the statement a hundred times over. What keeps this repetition fresh is the inventiveness of his myriad insults. Skillz can construct convincing slander out of just about anything: references to celebrities, movies, television, cars, fashion, science, and even history are twisted into scathing ridicule that comes from left field yet strikes as deliciously obvious. He'll dog you eight ways from Sunday while you're still wondering why you never thought of the first line he used. Anyone with sadomasochistic tendencies should let Mad Skillz indulge them in the verbal abuse they so desperately enjoy.
