Mark Wills

His name might not a household name, but Mark Wills has been quietly churning out hit after hit throughout the decade. Wills has been exasperated by label problems for a few years, but this effort is a mostly upbeat affair bearing no signs of bitterness in its grooves. Case in point: the roaring "Days of Thunder," the propulsive "The Things We Forget," the stomping "Rednecks Anonymous" and the anthemic "Panama City" are all fun, upbeat songs with plenty of sing-along charm. Familiar Stranger is a solid effort, start to finish.
