Medeski, Martin and Wood

This LP represents the many sides of MMW. With the addition of DJ Logic to their line-up, tracks such as "Start/Stop" are closer to hip-hop than the lazy Funk sound they discovered on their 1996 Shack-man. The organic "Latin Shuffle" returns to their jazz roots with loose acoustic piano and upright bass soloing over polyrhythmic Latin percussion.
