Inexplicably, the Melvins have been allowed to survive for eighteen years. A band like this
-- grunge taken to its logical extreme, brutal electric-guitar noise mixed with
deep-diaphragm yelling -- almost made sense among the Mudhoneys and Nirvanas, who
