Under MercyMe's symphonic rock spin, these seasonal faves don't sound like a rehash of what will be coming out of speakers everywhere else for two months of the year. Slightly reinventing their sound (oddly on a Christmas release, but at least well done), horns, mandolins and shaken-up rhythms make these "old things" new again. "Joseph's Lullaby" is worth a special listen.
