Arguably the quintessential Philly Soul studio band, MFSB established themselves working for Gamble & Huff, and backing such notable artists such as the Spinners and the O'Jays. This compilation sports a dozen of their signature tracks, ("Freddie's Dead," "Love Is The Message"), as well as some seriously funky lesser-known jams ("K-Jee"). Every song on here is a winner.
