This, Midnight Oil's second LP, released in 1979, shows the band beginning to emerge as the politically acrid act that forcefully led Australia's rock scene for the majority of the subsequent decade. The single "Cold Cold Change" won them a huge audience in their home country, where it topped the rock charts, but deep-cut pleasures are abundant, including bangers like "Back on the Borderline" and the deeply spacey "Profiteers."
