For their second exclusive Warped Tour Bootleg Series, Motion City Soundtrack are firing on all cylinders yet again. "The Future [Still] Freaks [Them] Out," but this time around they're hardly singing about it, as the audience knows all the words and is happy to lend its collective cries to the MCS classic. Elsewhere we find the band's usual mastery of its crunchy pop aesthetic: shrieking guitars, squiggly synths and a drummer who clearly learned his steps from the Cars. "Throw your hands in the air for no reason whatsoever," yells frontman Justin Pierre. Amen to that.
