Based in Toronto, Canada, Jesse Keeler's and Al Puodziukas' MSTRKRFT ("Masterkraft" to you non-hackers) sounds like Hot Chip paying extreme homage to Daft Punk -- even releasing an animated video for "Work On You" that recalls DP's "Interstella 5555." The catchy "Easy Love" was the first single, complete with soft porn video, but "Street Justice" is the winner, with its irresistible "killing on the dance floor" refrain giving the group a Cabaret Voltaire sheen that will please listeners of a certain age.
