Don't expect a disc of hyped-up remixes here. Instead, Tear It Down literally strips My Brightest Diamond's dreamy debut, Bring Me the Workhorse, taking it on an adventure through club-bouncin' jungles and ghostly wonderlands of twinkling chimes and sinuous strings by inhibiting its rock-oriented side. Shara Worden's operatic elegance becomes more effective amid the ambient, drum 'n' bass and minimalist milieu provided by mixers like Lusine, Haruki and Strings of Consciousness. Bjork and Portishead fans, take note.
