As the lead singer for millennial boy band 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey melted hearts with his smooth voice and even smoother good looks. He married Jessica Simpson in 2002, and the pair's union was the focal point for the MTV reality show Newlyweds. Lachey went solo in 2003, releasing SoulO, and although neither he nor his former band enjoy the popularity of Justin Timberlake or even Nick Carter (or their former groups, for that matter), Lachey has a solid fanbase. His grown-up, R&B-tinged balladry is helping to bring his former teenage fans out of adolescence and into their twenties.
