Completist-baiting "bonus" versions of recently released albums are often barrel-scraping exercises designed by lazy and/or greedy labels. With PvD, however, there really doesn't seem to be any dross, as these B-sides and remixes will attest. Why "Hours" or "Torn" (both excellent retro-techno pounders) were left off the original album is anyone's guess. Add to that the excellent remixes of "White Lies" and the solid mid-set workout from "Big Bang" and you have the makings of a mini album in its own right. One can hardly wait for the "director's cut" edition.
