After screw music broke in 2005 and BPMs reached an all-time low, the trend was to chop and screw every major hip-hop album that came from the south. Some instances work better than others, with Wall's contributions planted in the former camp. The rapper's slurred voice and deep south inflection, as well as the music's austere, pinging production, are custom made for the screw treatment.
