Love him or hate him, Pauly Shore has proven himself to be nothing short of a comic genius. He blew open the doors for dude-alicious comedy everywhere with his irreverent, happy-go-lucky, and continually stoned persona. All that was a facade, however, masking a razor-sharp mind and seething intellect -- one concerned with the perplexities of social mores and class distinctions. If he died tomorrow, Shore would stand alongside Slappy White and Shecky Green as one of the most formidable comedians ever. A true national treasure.
