George Shearing has recorded with plenty of amazing vocalists over the years, but this pseudo live session with the lovely Miss Peggy Lee remains his finest collaboration. Peg's sensitive, swinging and streamlined approach is matched by Shearing and his sophisticated quintet. As a bonus, there are two bonus cuts that are every bit as good as the concert material. This remastered edition of the album strips away the fake audience reactions and stage banter.
