Rhapsody

Peg captured in the early 1950s -- these were probably radio transcriptions -- with her usual small swing group of the era (led by guitarist/husband Dave Barbour), mixed in with wild Latin percussion. The set is a charmer and features a gorgeous version of "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" that illustrates how a jazz approach can improve a Broadway tune.
