Plain White T's

On the whole, this is Plain White T's best LP -- a set of quickened power pop that draws equally from the denim-jacket rock of Tom Petty, affable modern staples like Jimmy Eat World and old-school punk progenitors like the Ramones. And although upbeat rockers such as "Take Me Away" and "Breakdown" are highlights, it's a touching ballad, "Hey There Delilah," that sent off the record and became an unlikely breakthrough.
