Poison Clan

About

One of the biggest groups to emerge from the Miami scene, the Poison Clan released four albums between 1990 and 1995, helping to popularize hardcore Southern party rap. With ridiculously misogynist lyrics, rowdy call-and-response choruses, and a hearty amount of bass, they scored several hits, most notably 1992's "Shake Watcha' Mama Gave Ya'." Some of the Clansmen have embarked on new projects, namely Ruff Town Mob and Home Team. J.T. Money dropped his solo debut Pimpin' On Wax in '99, featuring the hit single "Who Dat."
