Pussycat Dolls

The Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha" was the surprise hit of summer 2005 -- its anthemic, girl-centric lyrics and sexy hip-hop beat enticed ladies to the dancefloor in droves. Oh sure, it's a bit gimmicky, but the Dolls prove they have serious talent on slow-burning, R&B-flavored gems such as "Stickwitu" and "How Many Times..."

Sexier than your average prefab sexpots, but no fabber ("Wait a Minute," "Beep"). (Grade - *)
