Ray Peterson

About

Phil Spector stable-singer Ray Peterson is best known for his smash-hit version of "Corrina, Corrina" and the kitsch classic "Tell Laura I Love Her," a supersappy tale of young lovers and a tragic car wreck. His nostalgia-inducing music is a mixture of early Beach Boys surf/pop and Paul Anka Brill Building glitz. Peterson passed away on January 25, 2005, in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was 65.
