Recliner's 2008 release opens with a sedate version of "All Pleasure" from 2004's Make A Friend, which might imply this four piece are feeling the pressure of their hectic Japanese tour schedule, but fear not – these lads still know how to rock out, with Carney and Benson's solid-state rhythm section setting the pace for Evans and Seidel's melody and vocals, particularly on "When She Sings." Elsewhere, "Head First" will please fans of Blondie's "One Way Or Another," and the pretty refrains in "Home In The End (Of The World)" will bring back memories of REM's Life's Rich Pageant.
