About
A charismatic emcee with a knack for hilarious punch lines, Reggie Noble, aka Redman, aka Da Funk Dr. Spock, has been delivering raw East Coast hip-hop since the early '90s. He first appeared on wax with EPMD in 1991 and has rarely put down the mic since. Part of the Def Squad (along with fellow rapper Keith Murray and super-producer Erick Sermon), Redman released a steady stream of solo albums throughout the '90s, before suddenly disappearing following 2001's Malpractice. The rapper suffered label pains throughout most of this decade, but in 2007 was able to give birth to the funky Red Gone Wild. The album sounded like the Brick City veteran had never missed a step, and reestablished him as one of the game's top rappers.
