Roy Drusky

About

Although he released new material all the way up to the 1980s, Country Pop mainstay Roy Drusky enjoyed the wealth of his success in the '60s, his gilded voice floating easily over the hypercheesy arrangements characteristic of Nashville in those days. Applying those much-lauded tonsils to a string of Top-10 hits, Drusky worked the Jim Reeves side of Music Row, and for a time was synonymous with the style.
