Just eight months after releasing his impeccably crafted, incredibly listenable debut, Ryan Leslie is back with another impeccably crafted, incredibly listenable album. Does this guy sleep?! Well, whatever lifestyle choices he's making, it's working for him. A bit of a misnomer, Transition is, thank goodness, packed with more of the choice beats and compelling melodies (plus a hint of Marvin Gaye falsetto) that give Leslie his "full-grown Justin Timberlake" sound. One big change: he's rapping more -- and, naturally, since he's Ryan Leslie, it's not too shabby (see "Zodiac").
