Saffire-The Uppity Blues Women

About

Female Acoustic Blues trio features guitar, piano and upright bass. The band writes original material that borrows from the Urban Blues and Country Blues of the 1930s. The playing and singing are strong, and the band gives their often funny songs a fairly strong feminist slant. They have become a favorite on the blues festival circuit.
