Saint Etienne

This 2000 release finds the band receiving assistance from the likes of Sean O' Hagan (High Llamas) and To Rococo Rot. But there is more to the record than cold, bubbling electronics -- there's a warmth of melody and languor. A maturity of songwriting and wonderfully cosmic arrangements make this album one of Saint Etienne's finest.
